Upon arrival at the airport, you will need to find transportation to reach your final destination whether in Murcia or a nearby city. You should plan ahead, as there is not bus or train connection at the airport. You can take a taxi or arrange for a car hire or airport transfer, both of which must be reserved in advance. An airport transfer is probably the easiest and most cost-effective transportation to and from the airport. It is a good option for those traveling in large groups since a taxi or car can fit only four individuals at one time and a limited amount of luggage. Transfers are available to the larger surrounding cities as well as train stations. Contact the company directly or a travel agent to make the appropriate reservations and ensure your transportation is available when your flight lands. If you choose to use a car hire, you can arrange for these services at the airport. It is a good idea, though, to make the reservation before you leave home to ensure a car is available and get the best price. All four companies can be found in the main terminal building, but of course you can contact them ahead of time and make your reservation.
